A thrilling race became a fantastic campaign
Together with Volvo Trucks, Spoon won yet another prize for the campaign Volvo Trucks vs. Koenigsegg, a seven-minute film about a race between a Volvo truck and a Koenigsegg One:1. The campaign had a great impact worldwide and has previously won at the Content Marketing Awards in the US and Digital Communication Awards in Germany. The campaign is also nominated in the International CMA Awards being held in London in December and in Spinn that is announced on November 19th.
“Volvo Trucks vs. Koenigsegg is without question one of the world’s most acclaimed content marketing cases of recent years. Volvo Trucks is a courageous client who dares to test new ideas, and this has produced results,” says Eric Lundekrans, Account Director at Spoon.
The film that the campaign is based on was dubbed into German and translated into 16 languages in order to reach an international audience. Today the film has had 2.5 million views on YouTube.
