Spoon is the world’s most nominated agency in Pearl Awards  

On Tuesday, The Content Council announced the shortlist for Pearl Awards, which will take place in New York, November 16th. Spoon received 13 nominations in the oldest content marketing competition in the United States, and has the greatest chance to win among all agencies.  

“It’s amazing. I am incredibly proud of all our co-workers’ creative work in combination with our clients’ trust that are behind this success,” says Anders Ribba, CEO at Spoon.

The Pearl Awards is the longest running content marketing awards program in the United States, and it has rewarded excellence in content marketing since 2004. This year The Content Council received entries from a record 84 companies around the world.

Spoon recently received 9 nominations in CMA Awards, which will take place in London in November. Spoon’s Chief Creative Director, Melker Forssén, explains the international success by honoring the collaboration between the agency and its clients.

“We work for well-aware and knowledgeable clients that place high demands on us as an agency. We and our clients also have a shared approach to content marketing, which means we see the same opportunities about what we can actually accomplish together. The key to success is relevant and engaging content combined with talented distribution mechanics. And then hard and persistent work. 13 nominations in Pearl Awards is yet more proof that it works.”

The winners will be announced at a gala on November 16th at Essex House, New York.
