Spoon wins big at Swedish Content Awards

Last night, the winners of Swedish Content Awards were announced in Stockholm. Spoon won a total of seven awards during the evening for their work with Volvo Trucks, PostNord, Xylem and Wärtsilä.

Swedish Content Awards, which was previously known as Guldbladet, rewards the best productions in content marketing. This year 77 entries competed in 19 different categories. Spoon won a total of seven awards in the competition.

”This shows what great results come from a close and insightful collaboration with clients,” says Anders Ribba, CEO at Spoon. ”Our clients place high demands on us, and we on them. Clear focus on communications goals, the right priorities and a generous creative space. Big praise to our clients who give us the possibility to work close with them. Then the results are often great.”

Spoon and Volvo Trucks won both gold and silver in the Vehicles category for their work on Volvo Trucks vs. 750 Tonnes and The Iron Knight. Volvo Trucks vs. 750 Tonnes was also awarded the jury’s special prize in Best B2B Communication. In addition, Driver Report, Lofoten got the first place for Best Photo/Illustration and Graphics.

“Very fun! These achievements show the importance of going the extra mile. To not be content with the ‘first best’ solution but to take it one step further and develop the ideas once more”, says Melker Forssén, Chief Creative Director at Spoon.

Spoon Helsinki and Wärtsilä won gold in Industry/Manufacturing and energy with the digital stakeholder magazine Twentyfour7. KONE was also nominated in the same category.

”We feel very privileged to be working with such great companies as Wärtsilä and KONE. They are dream clients with ambitions and courage to go that extra mile,” says Lena Barner-Rasmussen, Agency Director at Spoon Helsinki.

Spoon and Xylem got silver for their work with the Impeller Distribution Campaign. Impeller is Xylem’s newly designed content hub that is published in eight different languages.

Spoon and PostNord won silver in Transport and Logistics for their solid and long-term content marketing efforts, which span across both the printed and digital realms.
