Evli Fund Management Company Ltd is a Nordic fund management boutique serving institutional investors. They came to Spoon with the challenge to reach institutional investors, often elusive and conservative, across Europe.
The task at hand was not short of challenges: how could Evli, a relatively small and unknown fund management boutique from Finland, stand out, gain brand recognition and generate relevant leads in a competitive and homogenous market? How to cater to different audiences while staying relevant and consistent – and how to do this quickly and cost effectively, utilising social media where institutional investors are very hard to find?
First, we crafted a content strategy, mapping out the challenges and getting to know the target audience and their needs. Based on the groundwork, we built a compelling and informative content hub, The Evli Funds Hub: evli.com/fundshub
The hub offers timeless content and blog posts on topical matters, which both are utilised in paid promotion campaigns targeted to various markets. The content pieces are created to cater to different audiences and different levels of knowledge: videos, infographics, interviews with top CFOs, blog posts…
The Evli Funds Hub is a powerful content engine that continues to generate new business for the company. The campaigns during the first year have led to over two hundred high-quality leads as well as several new customers for the client.
First year of content hub in a nutshell:
11.000+ unique visitors to the hub
1300+ social media followers
In summary, we challenged many assumptions with the content and the campaigns: we were able to reach European institutional investors in social channels and generate a substantial number of high quality leads from elusive professional investors. The campaigns were a testament to high quality content, served to different target audiences in a meticulously planned and cost-efficient way.
Unique visitors to the hub.
High quality leads.
