Länsförsäkringar Älvsborg is a Swedish customer-owned bank and insurance company. Spoon is their full-service communication agency. The assignment includes everything from developing comprehensive creative concepts and being a sounding board in strategic matters to producing content and supporting the client’s in-house communication department during peak activity.
Länsförsäkringar Älvsborg has high sustainability ambitions. The company aims to be considered the sustainability leader in its region by 2025, as measured by the SKI (Svenskt Kvalitetsindex) brand survey. One focus area for their sustainability work and communication is to show how the company gives back to the local community through refunds and supporting youth activities. They want to show that a sustainable local community also benefits the company’s customers – who are also its owners. Other communication goals are recruiting new customers and demonstrating the company’s corporate offering.
